Who ever realized?

He started by being nice,
Then,slowly ,
One reflection lead to an other,
She never did anything right,
The soup, was not salted enough,
The flat not clean enough,
She was not fast enough to answer his never ending demands,
Then ,
One day,
He slapped her face!
Oh, excuses came the same evening,
A bunch of flowers the following day!
And , when she didnt expect it any more,
An other recrimination!
It just came,
Bursting on her face,
Words,
Hurting,
Nasty .
Her ego, was diminishing,
Her shoulders, were bending,
Her heart, was crying!
No one to listen,
No one to see,
No one to recognize,
No one to acknowledge,
Her,
Agony!
But the silences of the walls,
The floors which had received her tears,
The sink,
The toilet,
The bath,
Which had drunk her blood!
No one!
Silence,
About the morbid place,
Where day after day,
She was ,
Vanishing,
Disapearing,
Absorbed ,
But the noises of the streets,
The noises of the town,
The noises ,
Surrounding ,
Her!
Heart, beating,
Heart,
Murmuring,
Blood,
Tears,
Bruises,
Aches,
Unbearable!
A question,
A thought,
I never realized,
Some one would say,
When one day,
She was found,
Hanging,
At a pole,
Outside,
Next to the graveyard,
A few blocks away!
A scarf was laying on the dirty ground,
And a ring,
Beside it,
Symbol of love,
Remnant, of her ties,
To the abuser!
